Power Integrations Engineer Power Integrations Moderatortny 268p
I am a student and i am trying to build a 2.5 W Constant Voltage, Constant Current Battery Charger with Universal Input (85-265 VAC) using tny 268p. I found the deign on your website and started to do the project now I am unable to know which transformer to use. There are no specifications of transformer given in design. my project must be submitted by this Tuesday so please help me. I am attaching the design document also. Please help me. Only tny 268p is available here and I dont have time to order tiny switch family III so I am stuck with this design..

Hi,
We have several design examples on our website which are also supported with detailed engineering reports. These engineering reports provide details of transformer design, construction and test results.

There are several examples for designs using TNY-II family parts in this section and you can sort the designs based on product family.
I also suggest you download PIExpert which is a free tool provided by us. This tool will help you with the design. This tool also designs the transformer for your application.
