Wide-Creepage InnoSwitch3-AQ Switcher ICs Boost Reliability for 800 V Electric Vehicles

AEC-Q100 qualified InnoSwitch3-AQ flyback switcher ICs are now available with a wide-creepage option. The 5.1 mm wide drain-to-source-pin spacing eliminates the need for conformal coating in 800 V EV applications. The 1700 V-rated IC in Power Integrations’ unique InSOP-28G package simplifies manufacturing and increases system reliability while easily meeting the IEC60664-1 isolation
standard for 800 V electric vehicles.
