We are using LNK6666E in our product from more than 2 years and no issues till date.
Suddenly more than 15 units failed after few hours of running. BP pin to Source pin short.
Any possible reasons why sudden issue? I have attached the part marking photo.
Is this genuine part?

Can you confirm that the BP pin voltage is not exceeding its absolute maximum rating (9V) during the whole duration of the testing?
You may connect a voltage probe to monitor the BP pin voltage and observe the waveform during the failure.
